After the extraordinary scenes in the previous contest, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to host Aiden Markram’s Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Nitish Rana-led KKR started off their campaign with a loss, however, the side swiftly got two consecutive victories and have a healthy Net Run Rate (NRR) of 1.375.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, SRH started off their campaign with two back-to-back losses and followed it with a win in their most recent outing against Punjab Kings. Speaking about their head-to-head records in the last five matches, KKR has an upper hand with wins on four occasions whereas, SRH has only prevailed once.
The orange outfit will look to maintain its momentum; however, a tough outing is expected when they face a high-flying KKR team, in an away game. It remains to be seen what transpires as the two sides will lock horns on Friday, April 14 in Kolkata.
